Marvellous Molesey

I love living and working in Molesey.

There’s a great sense of community, and this is shown at its very best each year through the Molesey Carnival, which will be taking place on the Molesey Recreation Ground this weekend (10 June).

It always makes for a great day out with everything from marching bands to dog judging competitions to determine once and for all which dog has the waggiest tail! Why not enjoy a burger cooked by the local Scout troop while you wander around to take it all in.

Recently, I’ve noticed that more and more people that I help to support are from Molesey and the surrounding areas.

This might not come as a shock, given that I am physically based in Molesey.

Many people really value the ability to meet physically, usually at my location, or perhaps meeting at a local coffee shop and then going for a walk at one of Molesey’s many beauty spots. This provides the ability to meet confidentially, in a safe, relaxing and welcoming environment, without the typical distractions of home or work life.

However, just as many prefer the convenience or anonymity of a zoom or telephone appointment. That’s great too. My services truly are about delivering the best for you – whatever your preferences or circumstances or location.

What is really striking is that even in a relatively small geographical area, there are lots of other people in situations just like yours.

So if you are wandering around the Carnival this weekend, do so in the knowledge that some of those people there might also be in difficult situations, and are reaching out for the support that will help them to achieve their aims about changing their use of alcohol and/or substances.
